DATA PRIVACY POLICY
PREAMBLE
Odealim, a société par actions simplifiée with capital of €76,954,899.00, headquartered at 14 rue de Richelieu 75001 Paris, and its entities, including Assurcopro Paris, Assurcopro Sud, Assur’Partenaires, Odealim JBSA, Insor, Interassurances, Corim Assurances, Ripert de Grissac, Pisano Assurances et Conseils, SCA Roseline Brun, Brun et JCD, Fidentialp, Assurgérance and Globale Assure, hereinafter jointly referred to as “Groupe Odealim”, is a group of insurance brokerage companies specializing in property insurance.
This Privacy Policy sets out the Odealim Group’s commitments concerning the protection of your personal data in your capacity as a prospect, customer, Internet user and service user. It explains how we collect and use your personal data, as well as your rights in this respect.
The Odealim Group, in all of its processes, takes all necessary precautions to guarantee its compliance with the provisions of Law no. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 relating to information technology, files and freedoms (known as the “Informatique et Libertés” law) as amended, Regulation no. 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, known as the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD), as well as the recommendations and decisions of the supervisory authority for personal data protection (CNIL).
The Odealim Group has appointed a Data Protection Officer to ensure that the law is properly applied and that your rights of access, rectification, opposition, deletion, restriction and portability are respected, in accordance with the aforementioned law(contact-dpo@odealim.fr).
SCOPE OF APPLICATION AND EXCLUSION
This policy applies to all processing of personal data carried out by the Odealim Group, regardless of the communication channel:
- From its websites
- By post and/or e-mail
- By phone
- Face-to-face at the customer’s premises or at the office.
This policy does not apply to processing carried out on third-party websites or applications for which the Odealim Group is not responsible for processing.
WHAT DATA IS COLLECTED?
In accordance with the principle of minimization, Groupe Odealim only uses data that is strictly necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
Categories of personal data :
- Identification data (marital status, surname, first name, postal address, e-mail address and telephone number)
- Management data (contract number)
- Data required for risk assessment
- Data relating to lifestyle habits and the use of goods in relation to the risks insured or the services offered

FOR WHAT USES?
The processing of personal data by the Odealim Group is always carried out for an explicit, legitimate and specific purpose.
Personal data is mainly collected for the purposes of distributing, taking out, managing and fulfilling insurance contracts, and in particular :
- Contract underwriting
- Contract life management
- Collection of premiums and payment to insurers
- Premium collection (amicable and contentious)
- Claims management / Settlement
- Claims processing
- Recourse management
- Combating money laundering and the financing of terrorism (LCB-FT)
WHO WILL RECEIVE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
All data collected, by whatever means, is for the exclusive use of the Odealim Group and the Insurers it represents.
HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA
The Odealim Group only keeps your personal data for a limited period of time, depending on the purpose of the processing and the retention period required by legal obligations.
Retention periods must also comply with statutory limitation periods. In particular, for the management and execution of insurance contracts, the maximum retention period is 10 years from the end of the contract.
PERSONAL DATA SECURITY
The Odealim Group implements all technical and organizational means to guarantee the security of your personal data, and to prevent any risk of loss, deterioration or misuse thereof.
In the event of a personal data breach, and in accordance with the new requirements of the RGPD, Groupe Odealim undertakes to notify the CNIL of the breach no later than 72 hours after becoming aware of it. Where the breach is likely to give rise to a high risk for the rights and freedoms of the data subject, Odealim Group will also inform the data subject as soon as possible.

In accordance with decree no. 2007-451 of March 25, 2007 implementing the French Data Protection Act, requests must be made in writing, signed and accompanied by a photocopy of a signed identity document. The request must specify the address to which the reply should be sent. Groupe Odealim will then have 1 (one) month to respond following receipt of your request. Please note that this period may be extended by two (2) months if necessary, given the complexity and number of requests.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL) in the event that we have not responded to your request within the time limit specified following your request.
