With 30 acquisitions over the past 4 years, the Odealim Group has steadily strengthened and extended its coverage of the real estate chain, increasingly establishing itself as a leading national player in insurance brokerage and real estate financing. Now with a workforce of over 900 employees divided between 3 main areas of complementary expertise, the Odealim Group – which will achieve sales of 165 million euros by 2022 – is unveiling its ambitions as an omnichannel player.

The Odealim Group has gradually established itself at the heart of a broad real estate ecosystem, pursuing its objective of building a model that is unique in France and capable of meeting all the needs of those who make up the real estate industry, both professionals and private individuals. Construction, marketing, operation, banking, property and casualty insurance and personal insurance are just some of the fields in which the various players can now call on the group’s support, thanks to the multiple areas of expertise it has amassed in the course of its extensive development, combining external and organic growth.

3 areas of expertise

Driven by external growth in line with its business plan, the Odealim Group now boasts consolidated historical positions, as well as new development prospects thanks to the integration of adjacent activities, managed by specialized entities that are benchmarks in the market, such as Artémis courtage and Digital Insure.

The Group’s now multi-faceted offering is built around three main areas of expertise:

Property & Construction Insurance
Odealim’s historic expertise, representing 39% of the group’s sales, brings together the many and varied solutions dedicated to the activities of condominium managers, whether professional or voluntary (e.g. multi-risk building, legal protection, etc.), rental management (e.g. guarantee against unpaid rent, tenant guarantee, non-occupant owner, etc.) and construction (e.g. damage-work, etc.).

Assurances Emprunteurs & Prévoyance
With 350,000 contracts under management, 60,000 heads and 50 billion euros in insured capital by 2022, this division accounts for 23% of the Group’s sales and should benefit from a favorable market context (Loi Lemoine, inflation), despite more contrasting signals (rising interest rates, slowdown in property sales). This outlook is all the more true given that the Group can now fully capitalize on Digital Insure’s expertise in digitalizing the customer experience, and will be providing its partners with market firsts later this year.

Financements & Patrimoine
The acquisition of the Artémis courtage network in 2021, a national benchmark in mortgage brokerage, marks a decisive step in the development of the Odealim Group. Not only does it significantly enhance the Group’s territorial coverage and distribution capacity for its insurance solutions, but it also marks the beginning of an expansion of its historical expertise into other business lines essential to supporting customers in their real estate projects. Thanks to some one hundred points of presence in France, which have negotiated sales of up to 4.5 billion euros by 2022, the division now accounts for 38% of the Odealim Group’s sales.

These areas of expertise have already made the Odealim group the national leader in condominium insurance and unpaid rent insurance, and a challenger in loan insurance (no. 3 in France) and mortgage brokerage (no. 4 in France).

An omnichannel presence for maximum reach

Thanks to its complementary brands that share strong values and convictions – including proximity, professional excellence, entrepreneurship, the key role of digital, and the importance of putting people at the heart of every project – the Odealim group intends to invest in all distribution channels to optimally adapt its offering to the needs of everyone, professionals and private individuals alike.

For the Odealim group, this approach is fundamental to enable all its entities to make the most of the group’s synergies, and to respond on an ad hoc basis to their target audiences, some of whom prefer a 100% web-based offering, others of whom expect local support, while at the same time wishing to benefit from dematerialized access to certain services (e.g. claims management).

The Odealim group’s offering is therefore structured around 3 distribution channels, built around the group’s main brands:

Direct channel, aimed at individuals, independent investors, contractors and building and construction companies (brands: Artémis courtage, Cautioneo, J’assuremonimmeuble.com, L’assureur crédit, Simplis);

Intermediary channel, better suited to real estate and construction professionals, as well as their own customers (brand: Odealim);

Wholesale channel, providing expert solutions to insurance professionals (brokers, distributors) (brands: CORIM assurances, Digital Insure).

Work has already begun on defining a unified network architecture, adopting common collaborative solutions, and building innovative digital tools and paths adapted to the group’s ambitions, all in an environment of reinforced, controlled and managed security.
